"NHL 2002 ANY GOOD?"

Im in need of a new game was just wondering if nhl 2002 was worth getting? and does anyone know if any game like jet grind radio is being released for ps2?

you gotta love a sport that lets the guys fight for 30 seconds before breaking it up. may i suggest this to be added to football rules. let them sort it out like men

the cards were ace on MAdden and here i hear they are evn better......you can unlock new celebrations with them and everthing.....wish SR would get it in stock....shouldn't complain though...it was free :)

OK WELL NHL2002 is a excellent game, the card feature is really cool, and it takes for ever to get them all i don'tgot the all yet!
the season mode has 88 matches, it has a playoff mode, shootout,and mmm i forgot the otherone lol
i love this game and i am currently addicted to it ITS A MUST BUY FOR THE PS2, o and the graffics and commentry are very good.
the cards are the best feature of the game!!

I too have NHL 2001, and though im not an ice hockey fan i liked this game some what. Its not one of my best games but a fair amount of enjoyment can come out of it. The gameplay wasnt all that bad, but still reminded me a little of Fifa, at times too easy to score..until you put it on hard, then it became impossible! How the hell some of my shots are saved ill never know...i envy those keepers.

Presentation wise the game was tops, some of the best commentary i have ever heard and the stats and screens were too impressive. The graphics were nice too and all the players look good. By far the funniest bit though was the fights, although not that long, and not hard, what was funny was the way the looser slowly staggered to the box. :D

Im sure NHL 2002 is more of the same.

I have the 2001 version and that is pretty good!! I should imagine the 2002 version is even better!!

Havent heard anything about Jet Set Radio coming to PS2 - I hope so though cause that game is brilliant!!

I'm getting that as my GAD (NHL 2002) it is really good after the demo i pplayed....great atmospehere...graphics, gameplay...and u can have punch ups and there is loads of cards to collect like madden YAY! this feature was what made me play madden for over 50 hours.....get NHL 2002 along with me...and enjoy!

It's certainly a lot more fun, NHL Hitz. Oh, and Jet Set isn't planned for PS2. Yet.

I'd suggest NHL Hitz 2002, it's a good solid hockey game, but is more fun and involving than the EA game.
