We have all heard good and bad things about the timesplitters sequel but I am pondering getting it. I saw some clips of it on a reviews show last night and it looked pretty good.
I'd just like everyone to post their opinion of the game and see whether the majority of you think its good or bad. I would be buying the gamecube version but I think it is just a port of the ps2 version with improved graphics so it doesnt matter what format of the game you have really.

Timesplitters II is a fantastic game and I urge you to get it.

Belive me i have wanted time splitters 2 for ages! i had the original and i also played time splitters 2 you so need to get it!

Why is it so good? You cant just say, "its really good get it" and expect me to spend £40 on just your word. Why is it so great?
I think that you are right about getting Timesplitters 2 on Gamecube. Timesplitters is a very good game and there is quite a lot you can do.
The Story Mode is quite short, but it is very enjoyable. You won't find the game easy to complete though. Arcade and challenge mode are the ones that are challenging. You have different tasks to do, eg. smashing windows in a certain time limit, to get either Broze, Silver or Gold.
The most enjoyable thing on Timesplitters 2 is its multiplayer fun. You can make your own levels to play on, and there are about 100 characters to choose from when you unlock them all.
Here are the multiplayer games that you can play:
Deathmatch - kill the other contenders
Team Deathmatch - Kill the other team
Capture the Bag - Each team attempts to capture the other teams' bag and return it to their own base.
Bag Tag - There is only 1 bag, hold on to it for the most time to win.
Elimination - Once each contenders lives are lost, it's game over.
Shrink - Contenders size is based on ranking
Vampire - Kill others to extend your life span.
Thief - Collect the kill rewards left behind by a dead contender.
Flame Tag - If you get tagged and set on fire, pass it on to someone else.
Virus - Once tagged, contenders stay on fire. The last one alive wins.
Regeneration - Health regenerates
Leech - Health can be gained by inflicting damage on other contenders.
Zones - Contenders score for each zone that is under control.
Others which I haven't unlocked yet are - Assault, Gladiator and Monkey assistant

Thats very helpful yeah. I dont have a multiplayer action game until I get turok. The games I have are Resident evil, Die hard vendetta and Eternal darkness. All single players. I could do with a multiplayer because the only one I have been playing is wrestlemania X8 on my mates cube, and I always lose! Cheers alot for the help and ill let you know if I decide to get it.

I would rate it 9.5/10 its great gmeplay great graphics great sound effects the only draw back is there is no bloo:(:(:( but it is such a good game you get classic wepons and you can even unlock HATS on it LOL.
You can get wepons unlocked , people unlocked , hats unlocked , stages unlocked and other things unlocked. There is 1 perticular faveorite bit for me which is on the Natre Dame stage were you get to see the hunch back of natre dame with a shotgun!
Its a hillerious game well worth the money for it cos its a supurb game! hopefully that is enough to convince you cos i am short of time cos im getting ready to go out on a date!

i think it is probably one of my favourite games ever! multiplayer is awesome, my favourite is virus. the story mode is quite good on 1 player but its much better when you do co-operative. challenge mode is good but really hard, on the one challenge level you have to shoot as many surfing monkeys as you possibly can!
i rate this game 9.5 out of 10.
