Nintendo have reduced the price of the Gamecube to $199 (£70) in Australia and EA have reduced the price of their GC games:

SSX Tricky
F1 2002
The Simspons Road Rage
Freekstyle
2002 FIFA World cup
Agent Under Fire
^All above are about £20

Need For Speed 2
Nightfire
Ty the Tasmanian Tiger
Medal Of Honor Frontline
and 6 other sports games incl FIFA 2003
^All of these are about £24

Rogue Leader is £10 and Cel Damage is £14

Now, when if ever are Europe gonna get a price drop and EA, bring those flippin great priced over here!

Yeah but they seel by the bucketload so I doubt desperation is behind this move.

Strangely i'll probably be getting 2 EA games for Xmas, Medal of Honor and Tiger Woods (yes it's golf but it's actually really good).

Oh and SSX Tricky and Freekstyle are definetly worth £20

-None of those games are even worth that!!

Need For Speed 2 - Bargain!
Nightfire - Good price.
Ty the Tasmanian Tiger - Apparently cack.
Medal Of Honor Frontline - Great price.
and 6 other sports games incl FIFA 2003 - Bargain (for FIFA, anyway)!

-Rogue Leader's apparently good, but I've heard Cel Damage isn't all that great.

EA are desperate! They release tonnes of games ever year, but very few of them are ever any good.

I suppose it's possible something similar will happen over here...

If Nintendo dropped the price of the GC to something like £80 - £99 it'd surely boost sales, I for one would be buying one straight away if they did it!

A price drop in UK will encourage more sales of games and consoles. Nintendo will find that they will sell more games if there cheaper (obviously) and so will therefore gain more profit than selling less games for more.

I hated MOH.

See Tilts topic for opinions on that, James.
