Amores Perros got best foreign film at the BAFTAS. If it hadn't, I'd have been crying. This film rocks, better that Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Battle Royale. The best foreign film I have ever seen.

And the old guy had an impressive beard. Every film should have a good beard.

And LotR won Best Film. No poncy Moulin Rouge Ewan McGregor mincing about. And it won Best Director. No Rob Altman's poncy period drama that had Stephen Fry mincing about.

Damn, these BAFTAs ruled.

Heh. Ant is biased against it because God told him it was bad and the Bible isn't isn't once.

Total Film did a mock script of HP. It ruled:

Hagrid: Hello! I am tall and huge and comical in my hugeness!

Didn't some idiot say something about Harry Potter being anti-semitist? Sure I read that somewhere. Haven't seen the film, so I can't give you any reasons why, but I'm sure you lot can figure it out.

Blasphemer! ;-)

Ant: Yes, it is good Harry Potter got none, because it is bad and satanic and shows the Devil converting little kids. It was rubbish and bad because it was a kids movie.

Go and watch Notting Hill.

Hehe. I was so glad to hear Lezo off Newsround today say, "and the award for biggest loser of the night goes to Harry Potter, which was nominated for 7 awards but won nothing."

Mwa ha ha, poor old Newsround. {:)

Thats fair enough, but I think Lord of the Rings:FotR is the best book adaption I've ever seen. I love this film, as I'm sure you all know by now. I rate Peter Jackson above Kevin Smith. Well, no, but almost as good as Smith. I can see why people would dislike it because it's beardy elves and stuff, but I can't see why people would dislike it because it's not a good adaption. Because it is. A superb adaption.

You know, I don't really feel Lord of the Rings was that good. It didn't really get you that immersed in the characters, like the book does.

And I still haven't finished reading it yet. I have this habit of reading half way through, and then buying another book.

I'm on American Scream at the moment, recommend from Goatboy. He always seems to be right about stuff like that, and he is. Really insightful book.

And was Battle Royale even nominated? No? What a surprise.
