Blackburn with the Worthington Cup they are almost out of the premiership they have won it before.Beating Arsenal.I thought it would be Man U and Arsenal in the final if they didn't meat before that.

I think Blackburn have to thank the United rejects!
Mark Hughes, Keith Gillispie, Andy Cole, John Curtis and Henning Berg (I think that's all?) all deserve a lot of praise for their efforts in the final!
And they still deserve praise even if they didn't play in the actual final, they've helped their struggling team reach the Millenium Stadium, right from Round 2!

Everybody knew it was not going to be Utd and Arsenal in the final of the Worthington Cup. This is because they never put out a first team. They both put out reserve and youth teams to gain experience.
It showed in the quarter final when Arsenal lost to Blackburn. Jansen scoring a hat trick. This would not of happened if arsenal had put out a team that they would of put out in the premiership every saturday.
Man Utd, Arsenal and even Bolton have made the Cup this year less attractive to potential viewers as teams put out unexperienced teams to play BOG Standard Footie.
