Hi,

I am just venturing into building my first website, I have recently signed up to the instant Pro builder and had a good time with the basic layout, etc.

I have two questions if anyone can help.....

1) on the home page I was hoping to have a series of scrolling images replacing each other..... Can anyone tell me if this is possible with InistantPro, and give me some guidance?

2) I was hoping to be able to have a small number of PDF documents available for viewing / downloading from the site, once again does anyone know if this is possible with InstantPro, and is there any guidance?

(I can create the PDF docs myself, just don't know how or if I can get them on the site and available for people to access).

I don't know if this counts, however I do not have a freeola broadband connection....

If there is anyone that can help or advise, please remember that i am very new to this and easily confussed.

Many thanks in advance for any assistance.

Thanks, John

Hi Hmmm!

Thanks for your reply, most helpful..!

I'm not too sure about making the animated Gif's, as this sounds complicated..... And flash wouldn't be idea, so may pass on this idea for now.

The intro into the tutorials was a big win for me, uploading a PDF or two looks to be fairly simple, so I'll give that a go soon.

Thanks again for your advice.

Regards, John

Hi John and welcome to the Freeola forum :¬)

1) Most of these types of effects use JavaScript which InstantPro doesn't play nicely with :¬(
Things are rather restricted but you can you FLASH or animated GIFs.

2) PDFs can be published see this Freeola guide for details.

FYI You don't need a Freeola broadband connection to use InstantPro - but if you do move/have a Freeola connection then you get one InstantPro site for free! :¬)

If you haven't found it then Freeola's InstantPro tutorials may be worth a look.

Let us know if this helps and how you get on.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
LOVE it....
You have made it so easy to build & host a website!!!
