Broadband internet:

Firstly, Blueyonder and NTL are not available in my area. Is there anyone else with the same sort of price I could try? Names and websites would be helpful.

I can get BT openworld. i heard rumours that they were dropping their price. Any truth in that?

And finally, what types of broadband internet are there, and which are best/cheapest?

Any help is appreciated

£100 from PIPEX with 2 micro filters.... one off...

MONTHLY:
£23 (PIPEX)
£10 (BT line)
-------------
£33

at the moment:

MONTHLY:
£15 (AOL)
£10 (Bt line)
-------------
£25

An initial outlay of £100 (possibly cheaper) AND only £8 a month more? Worth it? Yes.

Wow! Cheers Whooo Style!

I'm seriously considering buying this now!

It says your line must be provided by BT - once the service is installed, do you still pay for the line rental on your BT line as well as the £30 PIPEX charge?

Oh, and yes there will be a price drop in all ADSL, but no ones sure when. BT Wholesale, the people who supply ADSL to the ISPs have halved their prices, so hopefully it shouldnt be long before ISPs half their prices.

Pipex Pipex Pipex!!!

£30 a month for 512k ADSL, with no install fee, though you do need to buy your own modem, which are anything from £50-£150.

Its a much better service than BT Openworld and the like, and you can be up and running in a matter of days.

I want Pipex, if I can talk my dad into it..
