Good afternoon and welcome to today's Forum Wrestling match. It is a Tag Team match, not of any sort. Just a plain match, leading into our big PPV Extravaganza next week, Rumble in the Jungle. The match is Edge & Maven vs Christian & Goldust. Edge helped Goldust get a victory over Regal last week, so what'll happen today? Find out now. Enjoy!

*Maven's music hits* Here comes the Rookie. Maven (Tazz) comes out to his usual Tough Enough music and climbs into the ring. He sticks his hands inb the air to cheers from the crowd. The WWF crowd have grown to like our Rookie Legend since he beat the Undertaker and Tazz a while back. He awaits the arrival of his partner Edge.

*Edge's music by Rob Zombie blasts out of the arena* Here comes Edge! (Jetster) He comes down with shades on in the flashing light coming all round him from the arena. He slides into the ring with Maven and gives him a high five before going up top to celebrat with the fans.

But wait! What is this! A picture is airing on the titantron. It's Goldust leaving a room. Suddenly he is smacked over the head by William Regal with a stick. Christian is entering the room now. He looks at Regal.... then starts stamping on Goldust. What is this? Regal turns around to face the camera. "Edge. I'll be this man's replacment for this match and I'll be out there and ready to dismatle you, you big pillock!" The titantron blackens out.

*Regal's music hits* Here comes the Englishman, William Regal (Grandprix), who is a new entrant into this match. It was originally meant to be Goldust (T-Devil) in his position but Regal is now teaming with Christian to face the 2 men in the ring, Edge and Maven. Regal waits outside the ring for his tag team partner.

*Christian's music blares out in operatic style* Christian comes down to the ring through the sparks. He dances round on the entranceway, singing along to his music. He gets down to the bottom of the ramp and gets into a deep conversation with Regal. They seem to be disussing tactics. Suddenly, Edge and Maven come out and greet them. Edge starets hammering away on Regal and Maven has jumped on Christian's back.

Edge start the punching on Regal on the outside here. Edge hits him in the face a few times, before tossing Regal into the ring. DING DING DING! It looks like Maven is trying to kep Christian held in a Sleeper Hold, but it doesn't seem to be working. Christian backs into the ring pole, smacking Maven's back off it. That looked sore. Christian stamps on Maven a few times before going off round the back of ring and climbs onto the apron. Regal has got Edge on the ground at this moment and is trying to choke Edge's head against the bottome turnbuckle post with his boot. Regal goes over to the other side of the ring and tags in Christian.

Christian is now in the ring with his brother and is taunting him. He picks up Edge by the hair and executes a few punches of his own. Christian swings Edge off the ropes and hits a dropkick on Edge as he returns. Christian runs over to the corner of Maven and knocks a still-dazed Maven off the apron. Maven goes down to the mat on the outside clutching his back. Christian stomps on Edge and picks him up. Christian hits a suplex on Edge and goes over and tags William Regal. Regal comes in and starts on Edge with strong left hands. Maven is back on the apron now.

Regal is now hitting Edge on the ground with hands and feet. Edge is taking a lot of punishment from Regal now. Regal picks him up and hits a hard german suplex from behind. Regal is picking him up again though. That would have been a good chance to go for a pin. Regal goes behind Edge and tries another German Suplex, but Edge counters and hits the Edgomatic from behind. What a brilliantly executed move by Edge! Both men are down. They are both trying to crawl to their tag team partners. Regal looks to be getting there first. Regal makes the Tag.... so does Edge. Edge tags in Maven. Christian runs at Maven but Maven ducks under his clothesline and exectues a dropkick. Maven using one of his favoured moves there. One of his only moves actually. Christian gets back to his feet and gets a few punches into the face of Christian.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the ring, Regal has just knocked Edge out of the ring. Regal follows him out, but it seems Edge must have landed on his feet because he has started an offensive attack on Regal aleady. Edge with a few punches to Regal's face. Edge smashes Regal's head off the ring pole! OH! WHAT A SHOT! He just smacked Regal's face right into one of these ring poles! That one. In the ring, Christian has just countered an irish whip from Maven. He tries for a clothesline, but Maven ducks under him and gets Christian in a Small Package. Small Package! 1, 2, 3. He got it! Maven has just defeated Christian with a roll-up pin manouvre. What a victory for Maven!

"Here are your winners," ring announcer Howard Finkel announces, "Maven and Edge!"

Maven and Edge celebrate on their way up the ramp. Regal and Christian are both looking furious. They stare their opposition up the ramp. Christian looks to be ready to have a fit here.... the show blacks out....

Congrats to Maven (Tazz) and to Edge (Jetster)
Unlucky Regal (Grandprix) and Christian (also Grandprix)

Thanks for reading, Afro.

Damn, was kinda looking forward to seeing how that panned out with Goldust in the mix. Still nice match AJ, has Maven got Christian's number for 'Rumble...'?

Nice match AJ. I think it would be better if the One on one between edge and goldust became a triple threat, as regal has become very involved in the situation. I need to know as I'm writing that match!

I was talking about the bit where you said Maven had defeated the Undertaker and Tazz. Not in the forum wrestling he hasn't.

Hey, come on.

Goldust had just attacked Regal the week before with Edge. I couldn't then have them facing each other and not include Regal in a rivalry he is involved in.

I know it was short. I was off school ill today so I wasn't writing so well, and I don't feel I'll get much more time in the week.

Good match but I feel that the further we get from what is happening in the WWF, the better.
