Also, its seems we are doomed to yet more crap football games coming out this year. Looking around there is already a UEFA striker game out and with news that Fifa are bringing a World Cup game out makes things worse. And just think, with the new premiership season starting soon after there will be another Fifa game aswell!
Looks like the only good footie game to come out this year on PS2 is the next version of Pro Evo..unless This is Football comes up trumps.
> I think it sounds poo.....just how much longer until pro evolution 2?
Hold your horses, Pro Evo has only been out 4 month.

Yeah - It doesnt sound that good!! Looks pretty poor aswell for a PS2 game anyway!!
Hey just given me an idea for a good thread (if it's not been done....)

It is pretty soon though (April I think)
Also, remember Sonys plans for online gaming announced recently?
An un-specified Konami sports title was on the list....
Maybe Pro Evoulution 2 will be online...?

Aint a flip kicck something Tony Hawk does....i certainly aint heared of it in footy.
Always on the look out to be different, in Red Card Midway has viewed that the conventional rules of football aren't the way forward, instead deciding to reinvent the sport... to the extreme!
Midway is promising hard-hitting action, so let's get set for chanting crowds, crazy power-ups and screaming rock music. Unique features include the ability to raise the team momentum for limited periods of play and, best of all, the chance to take your frustrations out on the man in black himself - the ref.
Some of the more conventional features are 32 International teams, three different game modes and a power-up system - see, we told you there'd be power-ups - allowing you to perform special moves such as bike, flip and scissor kicks, as well shimmies and nutmegs.
Plenty of secrets will be available for the serious player too, with unlockable modes, teams and stadiums. The list of stadiums for inclusion so far are all Japanese, so it seems that yet another software developer is itching to get their hands on those big World Cup bucks.
