I have been reading loads of the letters put on this forum and lots of them are short sentances which have little to no meaning, and I was thinking that maybe SR should make a Chat room as they seem to be changing their far superior web site quite regulary and the only thing missing from perfection is a pretty bow on top, this pretty bow that is so desperatly needed is a chat forum.

Leave a small message about why you want a chat forum below if you want this excellent site to have a chat room. I'll start off.

But what about those who don't want to chat and only leave messages? Also how would SR decide the gameaday winner?

Whats up with this sign in thing, I thought that was removed ages ago, anyway, AOL chat rooms were a good idea but when the annoying people get hold of the moderation then they kick everyone out leaving no one to talk to. If this site had a chat room it would be more popular my mates would join to find out which games to buy, as they don't know how good this site is without it's chat room, oh I can't be bothered to go on. A chat room would mean that more people would join and then would be more people to talk to, Most of the people on this site are quite useful to me, I have found loads of info through leaving messages for all to read, it's been helpful but I have to wait a whole day for an answer as I don't know when your on, maybe a Instant Messaging server would be better, as then we could find out when certain people are online and so on. fogmaster, thats a great idea in terms of the chatroom- but the problem with a chat room is that it needs to be moderated all the time. If that was the case, why not adopt the policy used by AOL, give a select few trustworthy people the power to moderate specific chatrooms, and then kick out anyone who wasnt being productive or stupic. Mederators, what do you think of that?

Not being able to judge gameaday wasn't the basis of my argument. The fact that we wouldn't all be able to meet at the same time, and the fact that we wouldn't be able to write anything remotely large, makes it somehow annoying. It would be a larf to have a great big arguement though. Except we would have to restrict ourselfs to about ten words.

Okay, so perhaps there should be a 'general' games forum, still in with a chance of winning but at the same time posting anything about games (within reason) this would allow most of us to carry on as we have been doing in this forum, but with more scope for subjects.

Hello. I'm Grix, as your're well aware. I don't think we should have chat rooms, as we all come on at different times of day, and we would miss most of the converation. And how would they judge gameaday hey? HOW WOULD THEY JUDGE GAMEADAY! Cough. Bit sidetracked and manical there. Cough. Humm. Yes, no chat room. I prefer the easy reading of the forum.

This site needs a chat room because it's nice to talk to people with simular intrests about games as there are no good sites that do this and SR could be one of the first, this site could be the best, it's good now, but if it had a chat room it could be excellent!
