Hi, I have this question in a test and I don't geddit!!

which of the following correctly describes the condition when two wires contact one another so they act as a single circuit?

a. Beaconing
b. Signal bounce
c. Attenuation
d. Short

Erm, let me guess -- you're posting this from a WAP phone in the middle of your Physics exam?

Well, "short" seems the obvious answer, as you "short out" something when two wires touch allowing current to flow as a full circuit.
