I am trying to find someone who has played this game and managed to get Goro to be an allie and also how to get the snake out of the cave in Wise Owl Forest on level 9. There must be someone out there who can help!!

I have the sword but when I approach the cave a ! appears and it tells me to use an item? What is the item?

I have the Serpant sword - but when I approach the cave it asks me to select an item - would be really grateful if you could tell me which item to use!

You have to get the Serpant Sword to get the snake out.
