It's the BAFTA film awards tonight, and I reckon that I can predict the outcome better than any of you. What I want you to do, is tell me what is going to win each of the following catergories, and the one with the most right wins, and the one with the least right buys the drinks!

Here are the catergories, with the nominations:

Best Film:
- A Beautiful Mind
- Amelie
- The Fellowship of the Ring
- Moulin Rouge!
- Shrek

Best British Film:
- Bridget Jones Diary
- Gosford Park
- Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
- Iris
- Me Without You

Best Actor:
- Russel Crowe (A Beautiful Mind)
- Tom Wilkinson (In the Bedroom)
- Jim Broadbent (Iris)
- Ian McKellen (Fellowship of the Ring)
- Kevin Spacey (The Shipping News)

Best Actress:
- Renee Zelwegger (Bridget Jones' Diary)
- Audrey Tautou (Amelie)
- Sissy Spacek (In the Bedroom)
- Judi Dench (Iris)
- Nicole Kidman (The Others)

Best Supporting Actor:
- Colin Firth (Bridget Jones' Diary)
- Robbie Coltrane (Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone)
- Hugh Bonneville (Iris)
- Jim Broadbent (Moulin Rouge!)
- Eddie Murphy (Shrek)

Best Supporting Actress:
- Jennifer Connelly (A Beautiful Mind)
- Helen Mirren (Gosford Park)
- Maggie Smith (Gosford Park)
- Kate Winslet (Iris)
- Judi Dench (The Shipping News)

David Lean Award for Direction:
- Ron Howard (A Beautiful Mind)
- Jean-Pierre Jeunet (Amelie)
- Robert Altman (Gosford Park)
- Peter Jackson (Fellowship of the Ring)
- Baz Luhrmann (Moulin Rouge!)

Right, there we go. 7 catergories. And all the replies must be done before the awards start at 8 o'clock to count.
Here's my predictions:

Best Film: The Fellowship of the Ring
Best British Film: Gosford Park
Best Actor: Russel Crowe (A Beautiful Mind)
Best Actress: Judi Dench (Iris)
Best Supporting Actor: Hugh Bonneville (Iris)
Best Supporting Actress: Kate Winslet (Iris)
David Lean Award for Direction: Peter Jackson (Fellowship of the Ring)

And may I just say that I'm very glad that Judi Dench is getting the Academy Fellowship. It's about bloody time!

*sighs* I wish the world was rid of people like you, then I wouldn't have to type so much. I said "Predict" what was going to win, I did not say what won would neccesarily be good (Although almost all the winners were - Big Thumbs up for Lord of the Rings, the 5th best film ever made)
I don't suppose you have noticed, but nobody seems to like you. And that's not exaggerating. However, as long as you keep posting crap and showing yourself up I shall continue to respond calmly, if only to embarass you some more. So buster, consider this - How shall I put it? - WAR!

Thank you for your time

oh. this topic doesnt seem to successful. well it seems that many people follow me when i say that award ceremonies are way to mainstreem and only represent the folly of Hollywood rather then reward original films. you can slurp infront of it but i would rather be watching quality flims then hollywood mainstreem insiders giving each other blow jobs. i am a film purist rather then a follower like you who watches whatever the critics say is good. pah! i laugh in your ingnorant face. learn about real films and come back for soe real intellectual discussion. if you want any help with choosing films just ask and i can suggest some great films to get you started.
