If you find it annoying, then dont bother opening the topic. Or if you still want to, open it but dont read my posts. What you said is your opinion, and what I said is mine.

Again another absolutley **** episode of the Simpsons. Why are they running out of ideas and making up such gay stories. Family Guy rules all cartoons and I think Simpsons should move on now because they're pants! ! ! !

Yeah, it's fair enough that you let people know that there is a new episode. But for you to then say how you are dissapointed week-in-week-out is really annoying. I wouldn't care less if a Simpsons episode had a storyline or not, as long as it has jokes, I'm happy. If I wanted to watch something that has a storyline, I would watch a serious programme, but The Simpsons isn't a serious programme. It is something that was designed to make people laugh and that is what it did, and what it continues to do.

Maybe the creators are clutching at straws for storylines, but I still think they are doing it with style. I am yet to watch an episode of The Simpsons and say that was a pile of rubbish. I don't even say that I'm dissapointed with it because I try not to compare the new eipsodes to the older ones, something that you, quite obviously, can't do.

Um shut up. I say theres a new episode to let people know, incase they havent seen the advert or read it in the TV guide. Then I say im dissapointed, because I am. Im not saying that the show needs an amazng storyline, just a simple one will do. But these days they are making the stories so dumb and stupid. Like some people have said before, the first 10 minutes something happens that leads to what the actual plot of the story which ends up being only a few minutes long. It was great when straight from the word go, you were into the main story. The writers are obviously running out of ideas, and are trying to pack the epiode as much as they can.

You have been spoilt by the brilliant earlier episodes but I would like to see you keep the same standard of brilliance up for the amount of years the creators of The Simpsons have. I thought that the new episode tonight was hilarious. Stop focusing on the storylines and concentrate on the jokes. I don't watch The Simpsons for invigerating storylines, I watch them to laugh, which I did a lot of whilst watching this episode.

Every week there is a new episode, it's the same old story. You start a new topic stating there is a new episode, no one posts from 6:30 till 7:00 then you reappear saying how much you are dissapointed with it. Just be thankful with what you have and stop moaning about probably the best programme around.

So what did people think.
My opinion in:

Meh - it was ok, but still not great. A couple of good jokes, like the dog house one, but still quite a weak story. I am seeing a bit of improvement lately, so hopefully soon the simpsons will be back to how they used to be.
