Dont get exited, the title of this topic didnt say there was going to be one, more like it would be good if there was grand theft auto 3 as a multiplayer.

You could be rival gangs, on the same gang working together, there could be a mode where you race around the city, deathmatch where you can use any weapon, car or just a bat, it would be cool.

When you played Grand Theft Auto 3, I bet there was at least one mission which had you failing all the time until you only just did it as a one off. Well, imagine you going round with a mate doing the awful hard mission. If the mission was to rescue someone from a gang, your friend could be on top of a car with a sniper rifle aiming at every guard in sight while you do the harder job of running through all the guards with your trigger finger held constantlty on an Uzi, firing at the guards while your body arour gets filled with lead. Or, a police chase which see's you both driving full speed down the road or on a pavement with police cars struggling to stop you until you get to your hideout.

Instead of your mate seeming to die and appear at a hospital, you could have to transport him there yourself. Or if your friend gets arrested, you could break him out of prison and run from the police. It would be far more realistic.

Although all this talk of a multiplayer version of GTA3 might never happen, rumours have been going aroung about Grand Theft Auto - Miami. To continue this hopeful rumour, When you finish Ray Mackowski's missions (The police guy who hangs out in the toilets of a Park) he tells you to take care of his bullet proof vehicle and says "see you in Miami". This could well be promising.

Some interesting ideas there that would really be great if Rockstar would do them, but it may be rather hard for them to do that. With such a big game and so many missions it would be a lot of work.

But we shall have to see what the future brings.
