You don't have to have an idea for a website...
Rather than be [email protected] you could use [email protected] (you get the idea!).
I've registered a number of Freeola domains for people just for email - you can of course put an image up on the 'home' page just for amusement.
I managed to get some peoples surnames registered, and for others firstsecondname etc. If you can still find your own name then you are very luck - obviously the more unusual your name the more chance you have.
It's a bit like car number plates, the best ones go first - once they're gone you've missed it! I've recently registered names for my kids before someone else gets them.
I recommend people use a free (Hotmail/Google) address for general rubbish (website registrations etc.) and save their custom Freeola ones for 'best'! This can help to avoid spam etc.
So get over to getdotted.com ;¬)
If that doesn't get me a GAD nothing will ;¬)

clearly you require both [email protected] and [email protected]
As it stands I can't think of anything that isn't already done for me...
However, I now also have numerous Freeola addresses, so all is good, as we rock :D
They've never shut down my account, where as Hotmail have, several times.
Lycos ... try to pedal me pornography if I use their webmail interface from late evening onwards. The client access is fairly buggy though admittedly I am running Windows 98 R1.
Hotmail ... have a magical new technology which allows email not to bounce (i.e. they do not send an NDR) but does not put the email in my inbox, or my junkmail or anywhere in my account. Perhaps they are sending those lovely little emails from people who used to talk to me over Steven Hawkings event horizon.
Gmail ... when people started sending me emails from GMAIL accounts I thought ah maybe I will try this one. Unforunately/fortunately at the time I was not good enough to receive GMAIL since their signup program was limited. Later I read about how their servers as with hotmail and others have enthroned themselves with the right to read the emails of their users. Since Google have such a well known record for being completely golden about letting justice (the justice of those who disagree with freedom of speech) prevail, it is perhaps not in my best interest to have a GMAIL account just incase someone sends me an email about water bombs and i subsequently either receive advertising for warheads or else get extradited to a small box used for obtaining a truth that does not exist
