does anyone know if there will be a modem for PS2 or any other way of getting PS2 online? Theres a huge space on the back of the console which is big enough for a modem but is there going to be one?
Playing games like timesplitters, Red faction or even Tekken tag online against another person would be amazing, espesially if there are prizes in store for the winner. Spesial reserve could do something like that, a Gameaday made just for PS2 gamers. Who ever wins the fight, battle, or race gets the game of his/her choice.

The space at the back is actually for the 40 GB hard drive that will be released soon. The modem is actually external and just sits on the outside connected into it.
There is a modem out now from Dixons i think, but the only game in the UK that works with the modem at the minute is Tony Hawks 3. More games will come out though once sony release the official one.
Personally, i cant wait for a Pro Evo online game.
