First thing to do is to take alook at the back of your PC, look down the place where the backs of all the cards inside show. Find the video(graphics)/decoder card and see if theres a socket labelled "TV OUT" If there is hooray ! If not then you can;t, as far as I know, actualy transfer the DVD playback to your tv.
Right so you've got a TV OUT Socket, all you need to do is find the kind of cable that goes into it and see if your tv has the necessary plug, if you know the make and model of your graphics card then type it into Google (www.google.com) or go to the manufacturers website and it'll tell you there what kind of connection the TV OU requires.
