Plate of Emergency pits you as a riot officer, who has been overwhelmed by an angry mob, next to a washing up factory. The mob overturn various vans, which are packed to the brim with china plates. Your mission is two grab as many plates as you can and dispose of the angry crowds. You can attain extra bonuses for head shots, and "straight-down-the-middle" torso blasts. You can gain power-ups, such as the "multiple plate throw", which can go pierce the flesh of up to five people if they are in line. You can get the "slow-mo move", which allows you to throw a plate up in the air and kick it at the perpetrators. To advance to the next level (there are 20), you must kill a certain ammount of people in the time limit.
Aside from the game, there are sub-games, such as a pie-eating contest, which requires two players. One player eats, and the other has to pour water on the plate, to prevent it from bursting into flames, thus losing you the round. The game will be able to be played online when the PS2 release a modem and internet access to the general public. There will be a deathmatch, capture the golden plate, and many other modes that we've become accustomed to.
Plate of Emergency will be released on the PS2 this coming Friday! Reserve your copy now to avoid disappointment!

*Grabs china plate*
You were saying? :0)
"China plate throwing... It's a Greek game right? :D"
Indeed, developed by Greeksoft Inc :D The final boss is Julias Ceaser, and other characters include Barbarians and Soothsayers, which are fiendishly difficult. A razor-sharp plate should do the trick though :0)
