I recently bought a Nintendo oriented magazine (that shall remain nameless) which gave away some free playing cards. You know the kind, the ones thar blatantly rip-off Top Trumps by just changing catergories and characters. Well one of the catagories was Fame, giving a rating out of 20 for how famous the character was. Well, as you'd expect from a Nintendo magazine, Mario was the most famous with 20 out of 20. Fair enough, because i once read that a survey found that more people knew Mario than knew Mickey Mouse. However, they gave Mewtwo rating of 19 out of 20, but they only gave Batman 14. Are they saying that Mewtwo is more famous than Batman?
Here is my case: Batman is over 60 years old, has 7 movies and 3 Television series under his belt, not to mention the umpteen million comics, along with all the merchandise that such a hugely popular characters spawns. Mewtwo, however, is part of a fad that has only been in existence for a few years, and is well down the slippery slope to oblivion.
Frankly I find it quite insulting that I am expected to belive that Mewtwo is more famous than the Caped Crusader, and I think most sane people would agree with me. Anyone disagree? Well Bring it on!!

i think they meant on a gaming front. but, even still, that particular nintendo orientated mag is BLUDY PK BIASED! they won't acept that PK is dead and are still doing poke-TOURS! they go arond the country, PLAYING POKEMON! on a scale of one to ten, how crap does that make them sound. i mean, pokemon came out of the realistic market ages ago, and is now oficially the most kiddie game ever. on a recent poll on favourate games charicters, pokemon got 6%, only maniging to beat yoshi. pac man won. *snigger.
