Yes, i am childish but i enjoyed (yes, thats right, i ENJOYED) the spyro games and gleefully noticed that apparnetly there is going to be a spyro 4 on PS2 (so states SR Catalogue Feb-Mar 2002). Anyone else like me or anyone with any spyro 4 news. Please.

Spyro's ok, wouldn't say it's in the same league as some of the Nintendo titles but hey, thats not what you buy a PS for is it ;-)

and if Jak and Daxter had an ending with closure of some sort, maybe turning Daxter back or some sort of achievment reward if your with me it would have been one of the greatest, *sigh* still good though :-)

Hmm, doesnt look all that bad really.

Yeah, i thought that as well (Spyro 4, Seasons of Ice) but if you look in the Feb-Mar 2002 SR thing Spyro 4 is listed under PS2! This got me excited anyway!

Spyro 2 is best for missions etc :)

To be honest i have only played one of them, which was the second. It was superb with a great variety of mini games and missions to do. The story was quite good aswell.

I love Spyro 3. Best PSOne platformer, bar none.

And I thought Spyro 4 was Seasons of Ice?

I'd say Spyro 3 - its the latest, so it has better graphics, and also in the game you have many more abilities that 2 and 1. Also more mini-games. Like skateboarding. Nice concept of freeing dragons 2.

Whats the best Spyro game for PSOne?? Im thinking of picking one up in town tomorrow!!

Spyro games are actually brilliant. There are miles ahead of lets-stick-to-the-preset-path gameplay of Crash and if the developers get it right, the new game can easily challenge Jak and Daxter to the King of the Platformers title. After all, can Jak fly?......WELL THEN!
