What on earth am I on about. The dreaded Britney game ! Rumoured for ages, Special Reserve now confirms that its a reality for Xbox, PS2 and other platforms.

Obviously its going to sell - regardless of whether or not its the worst game ever. Other similar titles like Dancestar Euromix on the PSONE have done amazingly well, and as long as theres a dance mat for this then that success is probably going to repeat.

Many, many gamers are going to curse it - that I guarantee.. But really is it going to be so bad ? Gameplay wise its not going to have great depth but if it takes advantage of the next gen consoles capabilities then it could be a fun game. Yes FUN ! Not one where you need a cheat to advance, or where the bodies are stacking up alongside your growing number of empty cartridges, or where you have to concentrate as you blast past that last car in front of you, but a genuine fun game. Dancestar Euromix was pretty good on the PSONE and a great party game for a wide age range, worked even better with a bit to drink :) Ahem... the Xbox verson may even offer the chance to play along to your own tracks as it can rip CDs to the HD. 5.1 Sound could give a real concert atmosphere. Really what I'm saying is that we need a few more fun games to be released, the Xbox has a few so far, which is good.

Am I a fan ? Well yes, but I enjoy charging across the Normandy beaches on MOHAA as much as the next person, it'd be good to have a few different game styles on the Xbox, especially as selling my PS2 means I'll never get Space Channel 5v2 (whether this is good or bad now that I've seen reviews is questionable!)

Anyway, at least this is antoher topic on the Xbox forum 'cause were a bit short of them !
