I have just scored 279million on Track 1 and am only 47th in the UK, what is going on, after 300 secs my eyes start to hurt from the strain, what zone do you need to reach to get 1.3billion ???. I assume there is no way to upgrade/use a different ship in Zone Mode. Please tell me there is !

I have done 75% of the game and I'm playing a lot of Time Trial at the moment. I am first in the UK at at least one of the time trial courses (Course 1 reverse on Madrashee).
Gold challenges are easy but it is sometimes hard to get golds on all the ones leading up to it. I have completed challenge with all golds with everyone except for Auricom and Piranha. I have unlocked their secret weapons (and so unlocked 100% of the hidden features) but I haven't got golds on all their challenges. I was hoping I wouldn't have 100% hidden features though as I was hoping that perhaps after 100% of the game done you would unlock the Zone Mode ship. Still a chance I suppose.
I have started to play GT3 again now though so I'm playing Wipeout a lot less.

I have just gold 5 golds in the Feiser Challenge to open up the Gold Challenge. You have 1 beat an enemy over 1 lap but you start with a shield of only EIGHT! won on my fourth go though.
I've now completed 47% overall, can't wait to unlock Time Trial at 60%.

It's just a medal. You can't get a gold, silver or a bronze, just a medal.

Yep it is gold, I see only 4 people in the UK have completed Zone Track 10, bet they've got sore eyes !

I really can't tell, I just assumed that it was bronze as it was the first one that I got.
That would make sense though, as I said, I've got to Zone 40 without getting another medal.
I really like the first level, so I'm just going to keep doing that until I'm top of the league. Then move onto the next.

YH, the medal you get for reaching Zone 30 is GOLD I think not BRONZE ?, otherwise you would normally get less than 10% for a bronze or silver.

Seriously though, I won't have a chance to play again until after the weekend, so I expect you'll beat me. I also expect it'll be harder to stay in the league as more people sign up, and more people unlock the mode etc.
Looks like we'd better keep practising!
