I reckon the brit awards need changing and fast. They still have a best newcomer when they started in 1999.
Also the judges only seem to decide on the more popular bands ie westlife.
I feel it was a shame that the Gorillaz didn't pick up an award because they are actually better than westlife etc.
So i feel the public should vote not a bunch of git that wouldn't know a good song if it came out of it's.... ahem

I think the fact that they wanted to be a 'virtual' band sucked. It wasn't long before they were doing normal interviews and press like the rest of them.

Yes, you are...Gorillaz are an incredibly original idea from a man who has really paid his dues in the pop world without ever becoming famous (Dan Nakajima) and they make some pretty damn good music too. Just wish they had got someone better than Damon All-Bran to do the lyrics....
