The Nantes keeper played very well, the new Barthez?

Frey was good at Inter but moving to Parma has not been good for him. I don't know whether Landreau is better than him though as it is difficult to compare. The Italian league is a helluva lot harder

Frey would'nt be taking over. I watch Italian Football and I have to say Steve Simonsen from Everton is a better Keeper. HE is not playing at his Best for Parma. I have known of landreau for a while and many people and have said that he will move from Nantes at the end of the season. More than likely to Inter Milan.

does fergie need a new bloody brain or something. the lone man striker does not work. it didn't work at the start of the season and it isn't going to work now. stick with the 4-4-2 which has worked wonders over the years and put forlan and Nistelrooy up front together for them to bang the goals in. Europe is not the place to be experimenting with the team

I agree that Mikael Landreau is a top keeper! And he has been capped by France, I think?? I'd like to see him in the Premiership one day, and i've always thought he'd go to Arsenal - cuz he's French!
I do know what he's like, as i've been trying to watch him on Eurosport for the last few years, even since I saw him on Championship Manager 99/00! He really is quality!

Liverpool will need a miacle to come third in the group let alone qualify. With Galatasary, Barcelona and a much improved Roma in the group Liverpool have no chance.
