Anybody going this year?

I'm off in February to Montgenevre in France, it's just next to Italy and is very close to where we went last year; Sauze d'Oulx...

I'm gonna do skiing again and get me a pair of Snowblades as I've been wanting a pair for the last few years!

None of this snowboarding nonsense though, just sitting there in the middle of the piste?

Sounds quite crap if you ask me!

:c)

Anyway I've now been to:

Borovets (Bulgaria)
Arinsal (Andorra)
Sauze d'Oulx (Italy)

And I'm going to Montgenevre this year...

I went skiing once, with the school, it was fun. In Italy, somewhere called Aprica. It included Skiing and Snowboarding. Well, for an hour or two.

Snowboarding is crap until you can actually "snowboard" 40mph down a hill, smacking into trees, flying over jumps, it's actually brilliant, just imagine it.... skateboarding down a hill with very little friction and a better brake system, oh, and your feet are stuck onto the board. Trust me, I spent £1000 on a trip to the USA to snowboard for a week and I'd spend £2000 to go back, but, you should learn how before you go, (if you decide to snowboard)

I've done snowboarding before and I hated it...

May have been the bit where I fell over a jump and got some severe whiplash...

Anyway, I'm really good at Skiing anyway and I'm gonna get my Snowblades to keep me interested when we go!

Skiing rocks!

I remember a few years ago going up a ski lift in th swiss alps and shouting at some french snowboarders. They looked up at us and all fell over!

Brilliant!

I've been ski-ing quite a few times and used to hate ignorant snowboarders, but then I tried snowboarding, its not so bad............

I'd like to try snowboarding, skiing seems boring to me. Snowboarding though, I'd reckon I'd be pretty good at it.
