Which console should i buy? Well they are all the same so it doesn't matter.

U R on a trial then, since the full service is not up yet in the UK. This will also mean u r not paying the "final" prices.

ok, serious a minute. If on-line play is part of your plans (say when it gets released in the near future (for the UK), make sure you can,
1) get broadband where you live
2) you can/want to spend a fair chunk of dosh on some kind of subscription/sign up contract.

I'd just go and try some of the games out at your local game stores .... and see what catches your eye ..... I wouldn't go spending money on a new console just because a few people here say they are good, as your tastes may vary from theirs.

Try before you buy, that's my advice.

Gamecube - If you want quality games.

Xbox - If you want Online Gaming.

PS2 - If you just want a large selection of games.

Erm it's very rare for a newbie to say "They are all the same so it doesn't matter". Very rare.

Well, If you want to play GTA3 or GTA-VC, it's got to be PS2 (well, unless you really want to run GTA3 on a pc).

Decide on which type of game you like playing and then choose a console based on your choice of games. Easy!

Oh, and get a GBA - it's got the biggest cross-section of games from all developers....

It depends what *cough*GAMECUBE*cough* games you like

Personally I think the gamecube is best and I do own a PS2
