Nintendo are relying on AAA smash hits Final Fantasy, Zelda and MEtroid to sell the console in EUROPE! A recent advert used to promote the cube this christmas shows of next years titles...

Why cant Nintendo release an AAA title or a price cut to sell consoles this Christmas? oh no they have to be different don't they!

Yeh, but Nintendo point their marketing squarely at 10 year olds, who have to wait for Christmas and birthday to buy their consoles/games. So what do they do? Advertise 2 games that might not be out until the Summer, meaning they won't actually reap the sales until next Christmas...

That's if anyone can even remember what the fuss was about by then.

Sure, it's old news to people who have a Gamecube, but aren't Nintendo aiming at people who haven't got one yet?
I should hope so because I can't think of many people who'll want a SECOND Gamecube... :-D
