At uni we have a computer lab which has computers which run the unix OS. I quite like it but when it comes to using the web the text in the browser is tiny and just about readable. Anyone out there know how to make it bigger?
Im looking in your direction Turbonutter : )

Rob, shh. He doesn't have root on the boxen in his lab.

If he does get to choose his desktop environment, let him discover them himself.. although I would concur with the recommendation of GNOME + Galeon as a web browsing environment..

Take a look at those screenies (bottom first) and see what I proper GUI lookis like! OK, I'm not saying KDE isn't a proper GUI, it's just that it's very... poor looking and doesn't hold that many benefits over GNOME.

You really should install Mozilla or Galeon you know, they're newer and IMHO better browsers.

It is KDE we are running just recently installed.
Using netscape as a browser as we aren't allowed to download any of our own we just have to use the default ones.

It's ok now, managed to get it sorted. Messed about for a while and the font went bigger. Just hope I didn't break or mess anything up while I was messing around. : )
