Basically I came across this quote a couple of years ago and I do agree with it. Not working your hardest doesn't do anything for anyone. It hinders you, and stops people from pushing themselves to work their hardest. Burning out is better than trying to fade in the background.
If you do not work your hardest surely you cannnot be proud of what you do. Working hard opens your mind an helps to broaden your horizon. Work to reach beyond your usual standards. If you reach for the stars at least you'll come away with star dust.
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." Mark Twain

:O
Homer: "Kids, you tried your best, and you failed miserably. The lesson is, never try"
