Well, i've played the game and after being led to believe the cutscenes were all done by real actors in videos and having seen a couple myself on a PS2 magazine demo disk they are not there in the game, the exact same cut scene where Mark Hammond was being told he had to work for Jolson or his 'bin lid' dies, was done with graphics as have all the other missions cut scenes ive reached so far.

I used an action replay cheat cd to open up the 'extras' in that category and they were just free ride mode and the credits, and I opened up the missions right up to mission 24, the last one and still computer graphic cutscenes.

So whats happened to the video cut scenes with the real actors starring in them?

My only idea is you get these as a bonus once you have completed the whole game, although that seems stupid to me, or they have had to leave them out due to the game being very violent, and included the less realistic computer graphic cutscenes in instead, what do you think? does anyone know?

By the way, I think the games a major dissapointment, the cars are far too slow to be exciting to drive, the traffic is dense and roads are of course too narrow, as we well know in England, realistic yes, but entertaining no.
The controls for on foot are plain awful and the games just not fun to play, although the story is interesting and entertaining, i'd advise anyone wanting to buy this game to rent it or play a demo first as it's all hype and nothing else.

oh and you can't turn the cutscenes off either, so no matter how many times you play it, you will have to sit through each one again....forever!

I'm sure many will like it but I bet theres more that think the same as me that it is just an average game.

Well that isn't it becuse you said that you used the cheat disc to unlock everything.

You probably haven't got in a fast car, the Rover 75 is quick, there's also a TVR and lanza. The narrow roads, i think adds to the experience.

Where the cutscene videos you are talking about not just for the adverts on television?

The cut-scenes were acted out by real actors, with them censor things on them. And the lip-sinc is done automatically by a computer program, which is why it is so good. I love that quote from Eyebrows in the first cut-scene. "Transaction, christ what a *female dog*", or something on those lines.

But there was an advert on a PS2 disc showing real actors, to make it look like a film. This was only advertising and not part of the game, just a expensive ad to get you in the mood for the game.

The faces of the game characters are digitised from the real actors in the adverts, and the voices are their own. The bloke who plays Charlie Jolson (Ricky Hards) had some prosthetic make-up to make him look older and fatter.

I think the motion capture was also from the actual people.
