We've got Zelda for the Gamecube using cel shading, we've got Auto Modellista for the PS2 using cel shading, so that's the Adventure and Racing genres covered.

Are we going to see a cel shaded Medal of Honor or Half Life? I think so. The latest trend in gaming is not just to give old graphics new life, but to allow you to concentrate more on the gameplay rather than the true to life imagery.

So a totally immersive cel shaded shoot 'em up shouldn't be that far away. The only trouble is, I can't imagine how the storyline would go. For a start cel shading lends a cartoony look, so we're looking at a non serious type of shooter, maybe 'Carry On Resident Evil' or 'Monty Python's Tomb Raider' could be possibilities. (But then the Japanese just wouldn't 'get it', would they?)

Despite the cartoony look though, it doesn't take much for an artist with some imagination to create 18+ games, after all they did it with Manga.

Dead or Alive 5 complete with wobbly cel shaded bits perhaps?

Yeah, House Of The Dead 3 will be cel-shaded. No matter how good it plays, for me it just doesn't look right. Somehow I think the spooky "fear factor" will be missing.

Continue this excellent work...
Brilliant! As usual the careful and intuitive production that Freeola puts into everything it sets out to do, I am delighted.
Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
