I am at uni and I am bored again and nobody I know is in yet so decided to give all those who are bored something to read with hopefully a funny side to it. Enjoy
Before they were famous
Did you ever wonder what did Mario and Luigi do before they went racing carts or saving the princess or what Lara Croft did before she decided to become a female Indiana Jones and seach the world for ancient artifacts. Well now is your chance to find out all about their past before they were famous.
Mario and Luigi
On first impressions you would think, two italian brothers who worked as plumbers who one day got lucky for being in the right place at the right time. Well if thats what you think you are wrong. Mario and Luigi are as italian as a hamburger, their real names are Dave and John, born in Manchester they decided to leave school early and work as builders, after 6 years on the building site they decided to change their future prospects by leaving the building trade and opening up a fish and chips shop, they named it Mario and Luigi's. They served fish, chips, pizzas, and various other fatty foods and the italian name sure helped business but everyone pressumed that Mario and Luigi were their real names so they decided to play along and put on cheesey italian accents which they continue to do to this day.
Both are keen footy fans and are married with kids, Mario is married to Agnes who is scottish and plays the part of princess in some of his games. Both Mario and Luigi were brought up on a council estate, they aren't real brothers, more brothers in law as Luigi is married to Mario's sister Betty who managed to get them an audition for the game as she worked their as a receptionist.
Both have had quite a boring past, although they have both got criminal records, Mario assulted his boss on the building site with a hammer and recieved a heavy fine and had to do community service, Luigi was caught taking part in an ilegal prostituation ring as was later found out to be the pimp of it all and had to spend 2 years in jail.
Up to this day very little other than this is known about the two, Nintendo have done all they could to keep this secret but who knows what else is out there? We shall continue to report on this one. More news when we get it.
Lara Croft
From first impressions you probably think, clever and pretty girl, rich family with a good childhood and caring parents. Well forget all that and find out the truth.
Lara was born in the back of a taxi, her mother was a single parent and had no idea who the father was, infact it could be one of many.
She had a rough childhood, bullied at school, beatne by her mothers various boyfriends the only way out was to get a job and live on her own. Lara worked as a cleaner and a hotel in London, she worked hard and earned enough to stay in a small flat close to the hotel.
She mad it big by blackmailing one of the main men at Core as shehad pictures of him and his "bit on the side" and the various items they had in their room for their weekend stay. The man got her the job but she had to change her image, go from overweight cleaner to slim fit looking gamestar. It took a while with various speech and exercise classes every week but she eventually got their and has done well from it all. Recenly she was fined for paying a large thug type bloke to go round and give her step dad a good kicking for what he did in the past, but hey whats a few thousand quid when you are minted eh?
Dizzy
Who? Dizzy the star of games such as treasure island Dizzy. Gone but not forgotten.
Dizzy is an egg, nobody is sure exactly what type of egg but it is obvious he is an egg. He was used in an experiment which went tradgically wrong, like frankenstein Dizzy was mad by a mad scientist who was trying to boil an egg for lunch but accidently game it life. Dizzy then went about learning the wonders of life and what it was like to be a bloke in an egg type thing. As you may have guessed he was given the job because of his unique look, only humpty dumpty could compete with him but he was old and past it and already had is five minutes of fame.
Dizzy became a family gaming name throughout the world but sadly he died and was fried. It was the way he wanted it.
In memory of Dizzy.
James Pond
From the same mad scientist that brought us Dizzy we also got James Pond from when he mad dinner and it went wrong. James Pond had it all, the looks, style and a name that kicked butt all over the world. His game similar in a way to James Bond style films except underwater (well he is a fish) and they were popular but times changed and he struggled to stay a household name. There isn't much that can be said about him, he was a fish who was given more freakish abilities thanks to science (who says science is boring?) and became famous for a while.
James Pond now entertains children at a waterpark in Spain working three days a week alongside a giant wale called Steve.
