Hello,
If pos can someone please do me a favour and see if they can view www.nwolb.com via their Freeola broadband?

Since Natwest's computer issues during the week I have been able to use Natwest Online Banking without any problems. Now they have announced the issues have been (mostly) resolved I find that I can't reach the above address via my Freeola ADSL, but can when using a proxy or via my 3G connection.

I'm wondering if the 'edinburgh.fixed' address below is messing things up for me (and all Freeola users)?

These are my tracert results:

Hi DL,
Thanks for the reply :¬)

Freeola 403 - a few of us saw that earlier. You should get on Twitter! I don't think this is connected!

I use NWOLB most days! So I'm confident my issue is down to NWB's current problems. But there does seem to be some type of ISP/DNS tie in?

Can agree with that Hmmm ... re-booting router sometimes 'cures' the problem but that isn't an acceptable solution! You'd expect Freeola might be aware of a 'problem' without the Forum 'hints' ;¬)

Sorry Hmmm, bit late on this one, but OK for me using Firefox 13, which did earlier give a 403 error message when trying to access Chat Forums!

Doesn't seem to be a recent issue either:

Bizarre Issue

Thanks JTD.

NWOLB still unavailable for me.
I can't see why a proxy or 3G connection works...

Guess I'll have to wait until things move on.

Thanks ncrs,
You posted while I was writing.
Glad it's not just me!

I've read on Twitter that NWB are telling some people that it's all sorted and that if Online Banking isn't available then it's a broadband problem! Not very Helpful Banking!

I can reproduce this on some (but not all) of the freeola connections that I've got access to. Depending on your browser it seems to come up with different errors (Chrome is giving a ssl error, while firefox keeps redirecting).

I've mentioned it to our wholesalers just in case, but I think its more likely (especially given their current issues) to be a Natwest issue where they've added new servers to deal with their current issue and not all routes have updated.
