Random thoughts from under the dark grey Quiksilver Baseball cap regarding the CAW divison.

We were sad to see The True Bottie Man dissapear into the distance at the end of Burnout. He was an experienced pro, good at what he did, but felt his true place was in Bottie Wrestling. We wish him luck.

Speaking of Burnout our first Pay-Per-View was an unqulaified success with some truly great matches. The CAW competitiors certainly did their best to contribute to this. The fatal 4-way from the CAW title was a solid presentation, enhancing the growing reputations of The Cong Man, Longy, Hawk and in particular Scotty The Doggy, who’s performance has thrown him right into the title picture. The CAW crazy match was absolute carnage, with extremely solid performances from all involved. Reaver shone as always and emerged victorious.

Much discussion regarding the CAW championship which changed hands recently. Many felt that Longy was a great champion and deserved to hold onto the gold longer. The general concesus, though is that Reaver is a worthy successor. We certainly want to keep the CAW title a hot potato as it were, changing hands before it becomes too stale. It won’t however be going to anyone who doesn’t deserve it.

The Psychiatrist continues to make up ground on his contemporaries despite coming into forum wrestling later than most of them. He has a great character/ gimmick and can wrestle a bit too. This is one young man who’s only boundaries are within his own head. A lot of e-mails have asked me if he could be champion one day. I'd put my neck on the line and say yes, but he needs more matches under his belt first. We also hope to get him involved with doing some amusing backstage skits. Perhaps having other wrestlers on his ‘couch’ and dispensing advice to them...we’ll see...

Our second Pay-Per-View looms large on the horizon and will be our first event away from the cosy environment of the SR arena. All the action will take place in the Provinciál stadium in The Cong Man’s hometown of Brazzaville. All proceeds from the gate will go to helping victims of the Volcano in nearby Goma,, as our entire roster have kindly waived their wages. Hometown boy the Cong Man will be a busy chap on the night. He is pencilled in to appear in the opening ceremony as well as a barbed wire match for the CAW title with his former team mate Reaver and a mystery opponent, who won’t be announced till he comes through the curtain.

Speaking of The Cong Man, his character seems to be evolving nicely and has even had some of the fans behind him recently. We had originally intended The Cong Man to be more of a heel in his coming feud with Reaver, with the comissioner becoming more of a face. The fans had other ideas though! Cong himself has been watching old ECW video and has incorporated some Sabu-esque arial offence in to his repertoire, jumping off chairs and other crazy stuff. As well as introducing his new submission move ‘The Banana Peel’ a version of the old Rakuga stretch. Painful.

The CAW Tag-Team title pictures is also hotting up for our second pay-per-view hotting up, with three teams battling to become number one contenders. Crusher has fitted nicely into the gap left by Tazz and the BDA look to be my favourite to get themselves into the CAW Tag Team title match at ‘Rumble in The Jungle’.

Overall, Rumble.. looks like it will be at least as good, if not better than Burnout, the writers and the talent will certainly be giving their all to make it a success.

Not much to say about our other talent at the moment. They are all perfoming well.
