Thats right! The staffies are trying something new to encourage you all to be better posters. Consider it like the gold stars or merits you use to get in school. Only here it's actually worth something.
Think of it as a reward for being such a swell contributor to the forums over the last few weeks. Maybe you've been very helpful to other members, or you've submitted lots of interesting threads that have generated lots of discussion.
What this all means is those who have been a big part of the community can earn something back without having to write huge threads or win Bingo.
To qualify you must be in the top 50 posters ("or whatever") in the last 30 days. But hangon, this is more about quality of posts than quantity. So don't go replying to every post, as that wont win you a GAD.
