Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has confirmed that it will be releasing a budget range of PlayStation 2 software on March 1.
At the moment the only confirmed title in the range in Gran Turismo 3, and that'll be sold at £19.99.
Thought I'd tell you skamps that just to give ya some good news, (after the bad news that you realised you'd actually bought a PS2) LOL!
This is quite annoying news for the Nintendo fan, as this will cause more nutters to fork out for a PS2!

I don't trhink the million sales thing actually matters in this instance. I read that ALL the good original release games were going to be the first in the Platinum range then obviously as time goes on more and more will be included. They may plan to have a 15 month time delay or something. So for instance you could buy MGS2 and FF10 for twenty quid each around Xmas 2003 !

But if GTA3 has gone platinum, then GTA3 should have as well as it was the top selling game of last year I think. I'm sure Loads of people pre-ordered Smackdown 3. There was huge hype around it.

FF10 was biggest selling game in Japan last year and only sold 2.1 million copies.

Or do these games have to have sold over a million in the UK alone? How many Million selling games are there in the UK for the PS2? All I can think of are GT3, GTA3, Smackdown 3.
