However much you hope it will happen why won't emile heskey get injured. Apart from kick starting liverpool's season it would mean he would be out of the world cup squad and we might win.

Also has anyone noticed that out of the players who are likely to be injured for the world cup all three are black:

Dyer
Ashley Cole
Darius vassell (possible)

it sounds like a suspicious form of ethnic cleansing to me.

I don't really wanna see Heskey start with Owen this summer, i'd rather see Fowler there. But Heskey's pace and strength (when he can keep his balance!) can prove very handy for England, and he can help to create chances. So he should definitley be in the squad!

It's a shame that Dyer won't be there as he's a brilliant player and good cover for Beckham. But there are others who can take his place, like Joe Cole.

And I think we could do without Ashley Cole as Le Saux needs to be given more recognition. And after a fine debut against Holland, I think Vassel should be strongly considered for a place in the squad!
