Gameboy Advance, Sega Dreamcast, N64, PS2, Gamecube, X-box, PC.....
on which one will the cruel hammer of public opinion fall? Maybe more than one... The market is truly becoming saturated, all these consoles cannot survive in the same merchandising arena that is the games industry. Developers can afford to pick and choose from the wealth of options available to them, but the public will be the one's to make the final devastating decision for one of these manufacturers. Which one will it be, though?

A post like this one needs releasing at just the right moment to win Gameaday, I'm thinking of asking them to pre-order it, it's gonna be that good!

I won a webcam (WebCam Go Plus from Creative Labs) there today. That is why I am very happy this evening. Plus the fact that I am preparing a draft for a definate Gameaday contender to post tomorrow. It's top secret, but Bill Gates is going to be in it.....

try http://www.competitions-online.co.uk/

click on games on the left hand side of the home page, (behind the annoying pop up window which is worth 2 grand if you can be bothered to fill it in) and scroll down a bit. There are about 25 competitions for Dreamcasts and PS2's listed there. Happy hunting.

Yeah thats about right, I really would love to see the Dreamcast shoot up the chart. But unfortunatly no one has seen the quality of the games.
And Sony is hogging the market.
I expect most people would buy the Dreamcast if they had enough money, perhaps from lowering the PS2 about £100.
Still not low enough for me (Free would just about do.)

Personally I think the rankings will be
1) X-Box (specs look good, even on Bill)
2) PC (always will have best specs)
3) Gamecube (Nintendo can't really lose can they?)
4) PS2 (Contentious I know, but I've seen it)
5) Dreamcast(Sega, what more do you want to know?)
6) Advance (A mere toy, not worthy to be in this list)

P.S. Sorry about the brackets.

Dong.
There goes PS2.
The odds of PS2 winning were about 2:1, before Gamecube was shown.
Now?
6:1
No joke.
