What's the worst injury you've ever suffered in a sporting event, and how many times have you had hit???
Or are you lucky and have NEVER been injured badly??
Or have you had several painfull experiences??

My worst injury is probably with my knee ligaments. Straining them. I remember it used to be really painfull playing footy, and it was apparently cuz i'd grown so fast, as it has happened to other people. It went on for about 2/3 years, and I gave up footy to help it.
Sometimes it was worse than others, like when I tried to carry something heavy, that'd be pretty bad.

Or what's the worst you've seen???

The worst for me was when Henrick Larsson broke his leg in 2 places! I remember seeing it on TV, they replay it so slowly you could see it break! That was horrible, and was strange watching it as he was only running along! SCARY!!

Apparently, during his last-season at Ipswich, Kieron Dyer played and scored a brilliant goal with a broken leg??
But this may have just been a joke by the people at Soccer AM.

I also know someone who badly injured his knee during a rugby match last year, he only thought he just twisted it or something, even though he hurt it really badly, so he just went down the pub. But about an hour later, when he was on his way home, he noticed that his knee cap had been kinda broken into pieces!! So he went to hospital and was on crutches for a year.

He's all better know and can walk again. But he says he won't be playing rugby again. I still don't see how he never noticed it before??

there was that keeper who played with a severely damaged neck after refusing to come of. And after winning his team the game he went to hospital and they told him even the slightest wrong movement could have paralysed him

Years ago when my dad played Sunday league footy (actually, he still does and he's 50!!) he really hurt his arm, went to the physio who told him it was nothing so he played on, then when he got home later that day his dad told him it was broken. And after going to the hospital, sure enough it was broken, so he had actually played trough most of a match with a broken arm!

worst sport injury ive personally seen was at school in football when a bone in some one leg jutted out throush the skin and there was blood all over the place.

The funniest injury i have ever seen was in a hockey match. This bloke took a free hit and hit someone in the shin. They went down and had a bit of medical treatment then the game restarted. the guy took the hit and it hit the other bloke in the other shin and he just fell over. Luckily he was alright.

Dave Buusts injury was horific, that is easily one of the worst injuries I have seen. Also, Luc Nillis suffered a compound fracture last season after a collision with Richard Wright. I can still see the images in the papers of Nillis' leg wrapped round Wright's knee.

When I was a kid I had a badly damaged foot. I had my achilles tendon cut and was in cast for about a year and a half (I was only 1 year old). I recovered and played amateur football when I was about 15-16 but during one game when I was 17 I began to get pain in my foot. One of the bones in my foot is an odd shape and I had to get physio for 2 years. It has got a bit better and isn't as painful so now I can get back to playing football more and more.

The worst injury I seen was probably Busts or Larsons in terms of football. I seen a kickboxing fight were one of the fighters kicked his oponent and his shin broke and when he put his weight on it his shin gave way and he fell, it was horrible.

I haven't seen it, so I do not know what you mean by that??

Also, here's another bad injury i've had:
Once in training, I was out wide-right and someone sent the ball towards me from the left. They overhit it infront of me, and I stretched for it, injuring my back without getting the ball! It was really bad, and I badly pulled something in the lower area. I couldn't walk properly and had was facing upwards due to the pain!

My mum also tried to make me go to school the next day!! So I had a go at her and she saw sense. But the injury went after about 2 days, and it wasn't that bad afterwards.
