Yes thats right not only is it rumoured that FOX have put an end to Family guy, but now they have also given Matt Groaning's latest show Futurama the axe. As before This isnt definate but looks very likely, so if you care about the show or you just enjoy signing things, please visit the online petition and sign your name.

Just think how much the Simpsons improved as it went on. The first seasen doesnt compare at all to the episodes when the show was in its prime. If we dont do something, we will never see Futurama at its best.

The petition worked before. Fox canceled Family guy people signed and it got put on for another series. i know that they might cancel it again now but atleast we had one more series.
Beleive me the people who start these petitions take it really far. For the family guy one i posted about a little while ago, they did the petition. they sent thousends of letters and emails to anyone involved with the show. They even had a protest outside Fox headquatres.
So its worth signing, it could make a difference.

Futurama is, what, on it's third series now? The second was the best easily

(By the way I am a HUGE fan of Futurama, but it's already getting like the new Simpsons episodes - they spend 10 minutes wasting time, then have something happen, then the last 5 minutes where they actually do something. Every single new episode follows this mould)

No, it's the difference in humour. Simpsons has turned into slapstick, whereas Futurama uses wit. And a giant crab. Excellent.
Yeah maybe Simpsons is going down hill because Matt Groaning is concentrating more on his baby show, Futurama.
I've found Futurama far funnier than The Simpsons for a long time. Though it was never going to reach the same audience. Firstly as The Simpsons has that market pretty much sown up. And secondly, a lot of people who haven't seen it will think it's as a sci-fi show with humour. When it's more a comedy, that just happens to be in a sci-fi setting. I hope it doesn't get axed. Though if it does, it might mean that The Simpsons will improve again, as most of the best ideas lately seem to have been going Futurama's way.
