How many of you have pre-ordered a PS2?
I decided to wait because the original PS was introduced at a very high price and after a slow start soon picked up I think that will be similar with the new PS2. The price is very expensive. Who will definitely buy one?

I will buy a PS2, but I will not preorder, I can wait as I have plenty of games to be getting on with in the meantime. Pre-ordering is too much of a lottery, dates keep being put back by Sony. I can see the idea behind it, but it would be too much of a disappointment to pre-order then not collect. So I will be playing Diablo II for the next few months methinks.
Not me. I don't intend to buy one either. Or any other console in a great hurry, but that's more because I have debts up to my eyeballs rather than a dislike of consoles! Of course I shall enter every competition going in an attempt to win one! Also you're probably right about the price, I remember when the Playstation was released at £400, and the N64 started at £250, but was down to £150 within 6 months.
