Don't you ever see a game that sucks so bad you feel like making something better? Well I really haven't, excluding Wave Racer 64(or whatever) and all Army Men games except AM 3D. These ideas go through my head non-stop, and I think I should write them down. I know some aren't good, but hey, how am I supposed to know if it's only in my head so far? Here are a few ideas that I'm really thinking alot about.

Blue Faction - sequel to Red Faction. But this time it can be in more of an icy atmosphere, rather than the hot Mars levels in Red Faction. The perfect explanation for ice is that it can be on Pluto this time, a place of freezing ice. It just seems like a good idea. It's a sequel, yet it's a whole new game. In this sense it satisfies those "sequel-hating/yet sequel-abusing Nintendo" people, and at the same time will get the attention of all Red Faction fans. It can use the Geo-Mod technology from Red Faction, and now that Volition has scratched the surface of their invention they can hopefully take it to whole new levels. I can easily imagine this game, so hopefully you all won't laugh at the idea. I'm totally in love with Red Faction, so I'm just itching for a great sequel that is an all new adventure. Having levels opposite of RF is a great idea, and I just love the name Blue Faction.

The Survivor - a game to go along with the Survivor phenomenon. But the thing is, this is a videogame and we can do whatever the hell we want. My idea is that the creators of a reality TV show called "Stranded"(or something) are favoring one contestant, and another contestant finds out about their dirty dealing. He is then taken off the show because he knows too much and they say that he has been "tragically killed". The staff of the show work for the world's largest technology leaders, who also run the network the show is on. He is then locked in a jail that is located in RZS(the big company) main building(think skyscraper times 2). He gradually escapes and finds his way back on the show. He gains access to live television and says he is still able to compete, but before he can tell that the whole competition is a scam he is cut off. He fights his way through many people, and all the while has to stay connected to the show and prove to the other people what is going on. I'm trying to think if it's better for the main guy to try and compete on the show, or if he should try to tell others on the show what is going on. Being able to compete in immunities would be a great experience for the player, as well as going to tribal council and other things for the player. It's a Survivor/1st person shooter game. Could be extremely cheesy or extremely well done. Hard to say what it would be like.

Slavers 3:2400. The year when everything changed.
Your world had finally overcome hundreds of years of interracial war and the planet was as one. A combined effort from all countries had enabled your civilisation to finally set up a stable Starbase in permanent orbit... the next step would be to expand into the Universe.

Probes had been sending back reports from space for dozens of years, supplying distance data and vague impressions of far away stars, but only the scientists had ever been interested. That is, until one of the probes transmitted something... unusual.

When the image from the probe arrived at your homeworld, it was displayed on the Science Channel on worldwide holovision. Just like all the others. The Government knew that there was nothing to worry about, that the data would interest the citizens and fill the gap between two sitcoms. What they hadn't expected was the image of another system probe - one of a different design, a different origin! An ALIEN!

Everything went nuts. The Space Program suddenly had an influx of capital such as it had never known - businesses wanted to get into space before the 'aliens' took everything over, scientists wanted to meet these 'aliens' and the more hardy adventurers wanted to get out there and discover what was beyond the atmosphere. A new era was beginning.

--------

Game setup

Your race has just made it into space, with some very basic designs. You know that there are other races out there and information from your probes has informed you of two main 'types' of alien race.

There are, of course, other spacefaring races out there, who will be expanding their empires, looking for allies, enemies and adventure. There are also slave races (details below) who are also spacefaring, but can be dragged into this new era by a visiting player races.

This is the third Slavers game and is being hosted for someone else, who will be playing the Slaves. The setup is slightly different, but details will be sparse! We have used Shane's galaxy stretcher to enlarge the map to almost twice its original size. Bear this in mind when setting up your race, as Propulsion is going to be rather important...

Players may interact with each other as much as they wish, conquering each other, trading or doing whatever they wish. Important notes:

1. Losing your Homeworld will lose you the game.

When a player loses their homeworld, turns will stop being sent (or at least orders will stop being processed - if you still want to see what's going on, that's fine). All worlds fall into disorder as the Central Government is unreachable. All player-owned worlds will look after themselves and do their best to fight off attacks, etc. They do *not* become Slave worlds.
2. Victory by Homeworlds.

To win the game, you must retain ownership of your own Homeworld and conquer 4 Enemy Homeworlds. Slave worlds do not count in the Victory Conditions.

3. Slave worlds

There are several Slave races in the game. These are races who have one or more worlds, but will not necessarily be seeking aggressively to expand their empire. A Slave race simply sits and develops quietly until visited by a player race.

To control a Slave world, you must destroy the Starbase and park armed ships in orbit. As long as you have armed ships in orbit, you will control the planet. (Note that these vessels MUST BE ARMED). This gives you the benefit of giving instructions to the planet, such as what to build, where to ship things, etc. You can expand a Slave race's empire through these instructions, or simply use them as a production world.

When you take control of such a world, you will be informed of the Slave Race's current tech levels so that you can decide what to build.

Should you take control of a Slave race's Homeworld, you will begin to receive that race's turns. You can control their entire Empire and all their worlds will be under your control - even those with enemy ships in orbit. As long as you hold the Homeworld, you will receive turns.

If another player's ships arrive in orbit, you will retain control of the Slave race as long as you have ships around the planet. If an enemy wipes your ships out, they take control of the Slave world or the entire Empire.

Slave worlds will not fight back if you start bombing them under your control.

CP Survivor: A similiar based thing to what you already had, but I was thinking of more of an adventure game based on our very own Crash crowd. Play as Jeff F, DD, RexRock, SSJ or any other past CP Survivor contestant as you battle through grueling immunities. Special features include insulting tribe members, cheating with codes or making fun of Ryan which remove points off your health score. Others included getting together in 'alliances' with potential enemies, and thinking of all-new tactical plans to win the immunity easily. If you survive to reach merger, when you're voted off you'll unlock one of the special characters. Survive right through to the end and you unlock Terminator1k, the sole CP Survivor and the ultimate character, with fantasical immunity-beating abilities to enter the final area... 'Donut Factory'. Select a weapon, which includes a eon splicer, some tr8tes, or even a PC equipped with internet access, and fight it off against DD in the battle for irrationality. Win that and you become the true CP Survivor! I think that would be hillarious, if anybody bothered to make it...

SONY SMASH:
PSX and PS2 characters go head to head, using wacky powerups and fighting at famous locations! Fight in an entirley 3D world (with the exception of Chop Chop Onion Dojo), like that of The Bouncer's! Each character begins with 400% health, and their % depletes a bit with each hit. Whne you reach 0%, the character flies up as an angle, like in Crash 2.
Go on the Internet (this IS on PS2) to download even more wacky levels, powerups, and modes!!!

Playable Characters:
Crash Bandicoot
Spyro the Dragon
GEX
Solid Snake
Lara Croft
Cloud Strife
Toan
Klonoa
Parappa The Rapper
Croc

Secret Characters:
Jak and Daxter
Brave Fencer Musashi
Sion Barzhad
Spike

Powerups:
Stun Club (similar to Smash Bros. Beam Sword)
Fruit Bazooka (ray gun replacement)
Atla (releases various Dark Cloud monsters)
Aku Aku Mask (invincibility)
Wumpa Fruit (restores health)
Materia (comes in bolt, fire, ice or water;used as an attack)
Bincho Field (releases various Mushashi characters)
Golden Remote (also a ray gun replacement)
Lumina (sword; does more damage than Stun Club)
Masamune (one hit KO)
Superflame ( is a suped up FIRE MATERIA)
Rex Remote (releases the robot dinosaur from Metal Gear)

Modes:
Disco Mode (changes the backrounds rainbow)
Bighead mode (makes the characters heads big)
Midget Mode (changes the characters into midgets)
Parappa mode (turns the characters 2D)

Secret Modes:
Turn Based Mode (makes it like FF7)
Big feet Mode (gives the characters bigger feet)
Invisible Level Mode (changes the floor invisible)
Super Slowmode (slow motion mode)
