Is coming, before the end of this year with improved graphics and handling, pleased to say also that the difficutly is to be upped - so you won't be able to complete the game on "hard" on your first go.
All these details were released by Sony yesterday.
I'll certainly be buying it, this was one on my favourite pre-Xmas games last year.

I personally quite like WRC. Despite not being near as advanced as Colin McRae or my personal favourite V-Rally, it still offers some excellent racing..

I have a few concerns about V-Rally 3 to be honeest. It looks fantastic, sounds fantastic but only 24 tracks....ok there are 48 in total if you inclide the mirrored ones but hey....They did say they want a few quality tracks rather than loads of poor ones but still they could have done with a few more...

World rally championship looked good as you would expect on the PS2, but was disapointing to play the speed, damage effects and handling were poor, I was glad I only rented WRC1 and did'nt buy it. World Rally Championship 2 needs to be alot better. I'm waiting to see Colin McRae Rally 3 and V-Rally 3.

Handling improvements may make it worth buying - it's the only reason I haven't bought the current version. I borrowed it from a friend, and the handling is dire.

As another friend said, it's like playing Thrust on the C64 - rotate the vehicle about its central axis, and 'thrust' in the direction you want to go. Very poor indeed. Roll on Colin McRae 3 and/or V-Rally 3.
