I was flicking back through my old NGC mags earlier, just a day after re-discovering F-Zero X and playing it all the way through again on Expert, and I was looking at the times for the Death Race and some other race times, and I've found out that my times are way better than any of the scores in there.

I always thought I was amazing at F-Zero X, because I could win easily on Expert and sometimes on Master, and I always rocked at the multiplayer, but I never bothered comparing my records to all the times in these magazine compos.

My time on the F-Zero X Death Race was "26.617" - 26 seconds - 4 seconds better than the top two NGC times. Don't ask me how I did it, because it really seems incredible compared to what I was getting earlier (about 1.30 at the best), but I did get that score... ages ago... somehow. Hmmm...

Damn me. Ah well, guess it's just a bit too late now. :-D

heh, I have a faster time at the Harbour level on Sonic Adventure 2, but they need video evidence. Pah, they can stuff it! :D

Death race was the one where you went round a big loop-the-loop mashing up the other cars.

F-Zero X was fantastic. Did you ever beat any of the Nintendo Staff ghosts? They were rock-hard, but I got a few of them.

Which level was the Death Race? Big Hand? From memory, 26 seconds seems one hell of a time for Big Hand...

i kick butt (couldnt say áss) at the homerun challenge with Yoshi in particlar!
ill have to check when i get home but its high! then i can post it up!

Why not send-in your times to them anyway, and see what they say?

They'll probably put you in `Idiot's Corner` or something, like they did with Indian Dude and his NTSC entries for the `Home Run Contest` challenge, or something like that...! :D
