Today I asked him about it, and he told me everything had been lost. Everything. Mafia, The Thing, Battlefield 1942, Half Life + Counterstrike and Jedi Knight 2 to name just a few. Rather annoying, considering not only will I have to reinstall them all, but I'll also have to spend ages making the space on the other drives (the 100 gig is divided up) What's even more annoying is that I spent all of Sunday downloading and installing loads of new skins/models for Counterstrike, and now they're all gone, along with all the Jedi Knight 2 skins I've built up.
I've had a dozen hard drive wipes in my days using this PC (in it's various forms) but that was all when we had a 20 gig or even just a 2 gig hard drive. So very little of my own stuff was lost each time, just a couple of gig. I have to reinstall about 15 gig worth of stuff, which also means clearing 15 gig from somewhere... looks like the porn may have to be sacrificed... *sniff*
That's bloomin' typical, that is
R.I.P MIXIN
Now I have broadband so get i and then delete. WAHEY!
Thats 3 gig more than i have.
Bwahahahahahaha!
Ahem...
I'll miss you, porn... We had some good times together

Ill adopt a bit of it if you want?
Maybe I should do the unthinkable and actually delete some of my old games, of which I never play (like Spiderman)
Hmm...
Oh, cruel fate, why do you mock me?
"I'm trying to cut down your time spent with the porn"
Cruel fate...
Then if the master hard drive crashes since it has windows on it, it is that that is effected and not the smaller one. You will have to wipe the big hard drive but you still have all the important stuff and can re-transfer it to the big hard drive again.
Or you could just back up onto CDs
