I was thinking of doing a comedy horror spoof. what do think?

Anyway..., the aliens have been studing our planet for 50 years and this is the first time they have landed, when the people are infected they have the minor ability of Telepathy so they can read peoples minds.
The army have destroyed all but one of their Race that came on the ship that crash landed, and this alien has taken over the body of a man, but the man is immune to the infection, so the alien has taken control of his body and mind.
The Alien needs only one thing to flourish, WATER, he needs to get to the most used water sourse and infect the entire urban population.
What do you think?
I had quite a bit of inspiration from the book I'm reading at the moment.

I'm not that much of a thinker of ideas, but I'm sure I'll think of it.
What if we include Aliens that infect human bodies and grow beings inside their chests, but instead f the "Alien" film burst out scene why don't we have the alien thing eat it's way out through the person's aS$.
