Good luck to anyone else with a test coming up
> Excellent. And how many lessons did you need?
Im not sure how many i had i think it was about 18 but i practicised with my parents as well.
> Heh, so what do you have to do on the test? And how long does it last?
it lasts about 40 minutes. You drive around trying not to get any major faults (things which seriously inconvenience other road users). You can get up to 15 minor faults which are just little things wrong with you driving such as using the incorrect gear. If you don't do to badly you pass if you make one major you fail. Don't worry if you don't pass first time as only 45% of people do but most pass second time around. They can be quite picky but generally if you are fairly competent you shouldn't fail on minors.

well done thats the hard part done. You just need to keep practicising and you get more familiar. getting on to the road and not worrying about all the cars wizzing past is the hardest part. When you've got over this it is just a matter of ironing out little faults and practicing manoeuvers
Be careful though, you never know what other drivers might do.
