With the release of the GameCube and the X-Box getting closer and closer and the PS2 doing very well it does look like things are going to be very good for us all.
Three good consoles to choose from and a huge selection of what are and what should be very high quality games.
I have a PS2 at the moment and I think it is great, I'm going to wait and see what the X-Box and GameCube are like (hopefully a friend will get one) then when a price reduction happens (That way it will be cheaper and also enough time will have passed to see if they are worth getting) I probably will buy the better one out of the two (in MY OWN opinion)

I think it was PB (because he is wise) that went on about the army of the free gamer, about enjoying games for what they are and not getting caught in the whole One console manufacturer for life kind of thing. There are a lot of people on here who stick up and defend a particular developer and to be honest I have no idea why.
I presume they could be jealous in case the other console is better or maybe just the fact tehy can't accept the others are also good. So I guess this is just a way of me saying don't overlook all the options available, Gaming is set to become even better and if you can explore all the genres, you might become bored sticking to the one.

There is no doubt that if I have the necessary funds I will buy all three. But "if" is a big word.
