If you played Day of the Tentacle all the way through, you'd find the computer with the complete Maniac Mansion game playable - quality potatoes!

I think that if you had DOTT, you could find a hidden game inside it - called Maniac Mansion. As a bonus, they put the WHOLE of Maniac Mansion in DOTT...
Maniac Mansion was amazingly good.
Seriously, I loved that 'switch' between characters idea and the mansion as a whole. Also, the ending ruled!
